'South Xiangyang Lu(road in Chinese) is a street in the French Concession in Shanghai. It's the first stop I moved to Shanghai in 2008. My first job, first apartment are both on this street. After a decade, now our 5th studio is also settled here, it seems like a 12-year life circle.

I have walked down this street countless times, it's even more familiar to me than any places in my hometown. I grew fond of this street and what's happening in it - the neighbors playing Mahjong on the sidewalk, the cafes and butcher booth, the old-fashioned auntie clothing shops and Jianbing(chinese pancake) stalls.

It's full of life, so bold and vivid and authentic.

This print is dedicated to Xiangyang Lu, to this theater stage of all kinds of folk lives, also to my second hometown Shanghai. '

襄阳南路是上海法租界内的一条马路 我十多年前来到上海的第一站，我的第一份工作、第一个住所，都在这条路上，并且离现在的studio很近，只相距几百米。我无数次的走在襄阳南路上，甚至比在我家乡南京的某条路上走的时间都多，对这条路有非常深厚的感情。我喜爱这条路上发生的真实生活，打麻将的邻居和咖啡屋小酒吧，老阿姨服装店和煎饼摊小菜贩。
