IdleBeats is a screen printing studio based in Shanghai,China that creates and screen prints all kinds of works.

We design and hand-pull art prints / gig posters / t-shirts and other screen-print artworks in limited editions. Also collaborate with artists, apply screen exposure service, host workshops and do custom screen printing events.

We offer an alternative to the mass-produced, factory-line products that dominate the Chinese market. Since our artists do not have to conform to the approval of popular clothing companies, they are able to express their true, creative voice. They have the freedom to design incredibly unique art that is both affordable and difficult to pass up.

We use screen-printing to bring art to life in the form of individualized works. We collaborate with artists to combine their original designs with our custom-cut, high-quality t-shirts and fine art paper. Encouraging artists to let their genuine, creative self emerge in their designs is important to us: it gives us our distinctive style. Because we produce limited edition products, we are able to take risks and be more imaginative than mass-production companies. We have also custom designed the fit of our 100% cotton t-shirts for increased comfort.

Every IdleBeats print, t-shirt, and other artwork has its unique edition number, Artist's name and Artist's signature(Shirts - hand-printed tag, Prints and Posters - signed with pencil or stamp).

The edition number of each product depends on the time of purchase (eg., the third purchase of 'Smooth Ride' print will get the edition number 3/49 signed by the artist).

T-Shirts are screen-printed as ordered, so allow three days to ship after initial purchase.

Prints up to 13x19 inches in size are shipped flat. They are placed in a protective, acid-free sleeve, and then secured between two pieces of cardboard. These are shipped in a box cushioned with air-filled bags.

Prints 18x24 inches are rolled and shipped in a tube. The printed area is covered by a protective sheet to prevent damage. The prints are then placed in a protective, acid-free sleeve and secured inside the tube. The ends are cushioned.

We also include specific handling instructions on each box to help ensure that they are handled carefully in transit.

For domestic shipments (including Hong Kong and Taiwan) we use Shunfeng Express. For international shipments we use DHL or FedEx.

Each t-shirt and print is carefully inspected before being sent out, so a printing flaw is extremely unlikely. However, if a print appears to contain a printing flaw, please e-mail us within 14 days upon receiving the item with a picture of the defect attached. We will respond about replacement.

We currently accept 4 payment methods:

1) Paypal or Alipay via IdleBeats' online payment system.

2) Pay on delivery(Shanghai).

3) Pick up(Shanghai).

4) Etsy or TaoBao.

Since the size chart measurements were taken from a t-shirt rather than a person, we recommend measuring a t-shirt that fits well. To determine the shirt’s width, measure just under the arm holes on one side of the garment. To determine the length, measure from the shoulder seam to the bottom seam of the tee. Be sure to add 1/2 to 1 inch on both measurements to account for shrinkage as our t-shirts are 100% cotton. Compare the measurements of this shirt to the size chart to see what size fits best.

We use water-based screen-printing inks, so machine wash cold. Also wash dark colors separately. The shirts are 100% cotton so expect them to shrink a little. To minimize shrinkage, hang dry.
