熟悉爱豆笔此的朋友都知道，我们有一个小传统，每年农历新年之际都会创作一幅生肖主题的丝网版画，今年这个系列的第十一个年头。生肖系列开始于我和Gregor的创作游戏，两人轮流以生肖为主题独立创作一幅丝网版画，一年又一年就这样进行了下来，回头看看，每年画生肖画时的场景都历历在目，整个系列就像一部IdleBeats的成长记录。

Those of you who have known IdleBeats for a while probably knew about this little tradition - every Chinese New Year we create a screen print edition of that year's Chinese zodiac sign. From 2011 to 2021, Year of the Ox brings us into the 11th chapter of this series.

这幅牛年画也许是所有生肖画里花时间最久的一幅，经历了这摧枯拉朽的庚子鼠年，不断问自己，新的牛年到来之际，应该描绘些什么？

Therefore this Year Of The Ox become real meaningful, after this bizarre and historical Rat Year, I ask myself, what kind of imagery could celebrate the begin of another lunar year? 

我看向意识里-

I look into the consciousness -  

看到一些对亲人的眷恋，

there's a sentimental attachment to family and kins, 

一种同舟共济的情谊，

a kind of comradeship of sailing in the same boat through stormy weather, 

一个水晶球里潜藏的未知，

a mystery and uncertainty hiding in the crystal ball,

一处风生水起的新开始，

a new beginning with rising wind and ascending water(good fengshui), 

一种纯粹的精神，和一片开阔的天地。

a pure spirit and an open world.

于是尝试用一种开放的视觉语言去表达这一切，最终画面自然的抵达了这里。

So I try to express all these with an open visual language, and the image landed here. 

希望我们在牛年都可以更贴近自己的内心和真理，和美好的灵魂相处，一起经历更多的喜悦时刻。

Hope in the year of the ox, we all can be closer to our innerselves and enjoy the life with more beautiful souls.
